Because I may never truly finish, I present this: On the left is Saturn, a woman of the Daron lineage of the Moa race. On the right is En Kay El Es Thaiaxn, the third re-incarnation of the guardian of the same name. (And my personal Avatar.)

They are a race covered in feathers. Their eyes glow from within, with squares of light dialing inside their iris as a way of communication with each other during the Moa'n Afterdark, when sound waves are depressed. The black lines running off their heads are constantly animate, helping them display emotion and detect changes in their environment. The legs that you can't see, are shaped like the small figure.

The three circles are a diagram of the universe in my book. The center is regular space, the others being Hyper and Sub space. As guardians, both Saturn and Thaiaxn have ''after images'' imprinted in the two plains. If their body ever degenerates or is harmed, the after images quickly fill in the blanks. At the same time, they allow them to control the space their bodies inhabit, bending the universe like an extension of their arm, the after-images acting as the nerves.

The ships are drop ships. They, like all craft in my book, run on Quantum-gravity to move. In essence, they claw their way through the fabric of space on giant magnetic bubbles, which double as shields. They drop troops by extending a shaft of controlled gravity and light, then settling a squad on a platform that rushes down the shaft. Their weapons are nickel slugs, housed in spherical magazines of compressed matter. The interior of the ship is hollow, for the most part, to minimize casualties in event of a hull breach.

Only one pilot is needed for the ship, who is connected to the craft by neural interface. Implants are added into the skulls of children at birth that allow them to communicate with the ship. Seen as a little barbaric, the Relieon began producing androids for the process. These androids are born just like any other life form, and treated as such.

Thaiaxn was one such life form. As his previous body had been lost during the collapse of the universe (leaving Hyper/Sub space devoid of all previous matter, now to be only fast moving energy and de-coagulated quantum foam. He had sacrificed himself to stop the collapse from destroying the only thing he was powerful enough to protect.) AS his after images drifted through the shattered Sar'An'Yad galaxy, billions of years past, allowing the images to deteriorate slightly. When the body of the pilot was first spawned, Thaiaxn’s image occupied the same space, and imprinted upon the new life as its consciousness.

As a pilot, he was implanted with six data ports capable of morphing their shape to fit any special key. They ran along magnetic rails, thirty meters long, which compress into matter rings when retracted. Thaiaxn ended up using them as weapons.

Upon birth, this wasn't a problem. As he matured, his feathers changed from cinnamon red to black and white, the guardian's previous images beginning to manifest. This set him apart from his race, negating his ability to reproduce. He met Saturn, another guardian, and married her. The chances of two guardians becoming aware on the same planet at the same time are astronomical, even for the Relieon.

Soon after, the Relieon v Krown war reached him and his wife, dragging them both into the conflict.

More will be available later, if I decide or find time away from the HitSoaS script to finish. This plot has been evolving from various influences for over a decade. I really really need to get it all down, instead of scant stories, notes and artwork.
