I want to change it to ThaiaxN's new spelling, but oh well. NK is back in gear, sort of. The writing is on the up and up, 42+ pages in four freak'n days! Fuck... No food or sleep, but I can't stop! I just stay up, doing lines out of this script like some sort of red eyed addict. Esh.
Drawing is still out on hiatus. The hands are still trembling with a little run in with the heavy metals Chromium and Lead. (Not to mention I had an engine dropped on my guts a few months ago that damaged my already messed up liver. Muscle atrophy is killing me.
But, while away, my mind had time to rebound. My plots are more twisting than ever, and are backed with more character drama.
In HitSoaS, Konomi is getting her ass kicked. Lets recount the catastrophes:
She finds out that her bi-polar father killed her parents while bombarding Earth in a Corporate take over, only to sell her to the corporation as a child, then adopt her into his family. Then, she learns he's also a pirate killer. She's inducted into the Marines by forced draft, where her body is mutated into a fatty to power the battle armor. Fission lasers cut her apart on the field, where she is brought back to life as a machine ninja slave of Intragate Corp. Then, a mysterious man forces her to relive her worst nightmares in order to save her life from the volatile emotions manifesting themselves in her mind.
Her life is turned upside down, when she saves a band of pirates against Intragate orders. They send her, the pirates, and her team to Earth, which has been taken over by a nanobot plague, turning the populace into synchronized mechanical zombies. The planet now a single giant mechanism from surface to core. She loses two of her teammates to the zombies while trying to spare two more planets from the synchronized, only to fail.
From there, she limps home, where she fights a final battle to stop the synchronized army from destroying her suto-homeworld Torlan. She learns that both her brothers had died in the war, and her mother is missing. During the battle, Torlan is saved, but she is trapped on a vessel taken over by a man called Wrath 96276, whose only intention is to release the pent up sexual urges of a sadistic vampire trapped in a steel body.
The ship is sent careening into a region of Torlan's system called the Nullification Zone, or "Shadow." Nothing exists in the gap, but the vessel manages to pass through in pieces, only to crash on the planet Morgenkage. Stranded, and now pregnant (shows how human she is despite being a machine,) she's forced to raise an army to stop Wrath from turning this world "hidden in the shadow of a star," from falling into the hands of this manacle being.
As I said, I kick her ass. But it makes the story really cool. I also mix in a allot of my philosophy to give it the flavor of something never done before, while still keeping it packed with action and character relation. This isn't easy. Most Cyber-punk of the current age sucks because it’s so easy to get lost in the concept and ignore the humanity in the script.
I've also changed Hyperspace a great deal. Everything from the Moa themselves, to the plot outline, and technologies. Again, my philosophy is the keystone that drives the story's purpose. I make not of these changes in my picture, Hyperspace II. Go check it out! I want more views!
